Swimming Pool Rules & Policies

Freestyle Swim is dedicated to protecting the health and safety of all of its patrons.
In that spirit, the following rules apply to our aquatics facilities :

No Diving
No person with skin, eye, ear, or nasal infections allowed in the pool.
Animals or pets are not permitted in the facility.
Candy, food or beverages are not allowed
Persons who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or narcotics will be denied admission.
Children should not use the swimming pool without adult supervision.
Children who are not toilet-trained and less than four years old will be allowed in the pool only if they wear a swimsuit diaper or plastic pants and a swim suit. Cloth or disposable diapers are not accepted.
All patrons must shower with soap before entering the pool. Persons with open cuts, sores, bandages, colds, coughs are not permitted in the pool.
All Persons using the pool do so at their own risk. Owners and management are not responsible for accidents and injuries.
No one should engage the lifeguard in unnecessary conversation.
No person within the pool area shall behave in such a manner as to jeopardize the safety and health of himself/herself and others. Such behavior, including abusive or profane language, shall be grounds for expulsion.
No prolonged underwater swimming for time and/or distance. Competitive or repetitive breath holding can be deadly and is not permitted. Hyperventilation is absolutely not permitted.
Running, boisterous or rough play, pushing, acrobatics, dunking, wrestling, splashing, yelling, diving or jumping without care and caution, snapping of towels, improper conduct causing undue disturbances on or about the pool area or any acts which would endanger any patron are prohibited.
All tag games must be conducted in the water.
Spitting, spouting water, blowing nose, urinating or defecating in the pool is prohibited.
Please leave valuables at home. The Freestyle Swim cannot be responsible for personal property or valuables at any time. Lost & Found will be disposed of weekly in accordance with Freestyle Swim policies. Valuables may not be checked with the cashier or pool staff.
Emergency procedures must be observed. Swimmers must leave the pool area immediately upon the signal or request of the Pool Manager.
Management reserves the right to deny use of pool to anyone at any time.

LOCKER ROOM SAFETY RULES

1.FOOD, GUM, BEVERAGES, AND GLASS ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED IN THE LOCKER ROOM.
2.DO NOT STAND OR STEP ON THE BENCHES.
3.FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, PLEASE SIT ON THE BENCHE WHILE YOU ARE PUTTING ON YOUR PANTS.
4.STUDENTS MAY NOT DRESS IN THE TOILET STALLS. STUDENTS MAY DRESS IN THE SHOWER STALLS IN THE BACK OF THE LOCKER ROOM IF YOU NEED SOME PRIVACY.
5.DON'T TOUCH OTHER PEOPLE.
6.RUNNING, JUMPING , CHASING , ROUGH HOUSE OR FIGHT IN THE LOCKER ROOM IS PROHIBITED.
7.SNAPPING OF TOWELS AT OTHER STUDENTS OR THROWING SHOES, SWIMMING CAP, GOGGLES OR OTHER OBJECTS IN THE LOCKER ROOM IS PROHIBITED.
8.DON'T MAKE OTHERS UNCOMFORABLE WITH CONVERSATION WHILE CHANGING OR SHOWERING; COMMENT ON OTHER PEOPLE; TAKE EXCESSIVE TIME WHEN THE LOCKER ROOM IS CROWDED; SPEND UNNECESSARY TIME WITHOUT CLOTHES ON;
9.DO KEEP YOUR EYES TO YOURSELF; BE QUICK IN THE SHOWERS AND WHEN CHANGING; DRY OFF BEFORE LEAVING THE SHOWER AREA TO AVOID TRACKING WATER.
10.TO PREVENT LOSS, DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY, STUDENTS SHOULD NOT WEAR JEWELRY DRUING SWIMMING CLASS.
11.LEAVE ALL YOUR VALUABLES TO YOUR PARENTS OR GUARDIANS BEFORE YOU ENTER THE LOCKER ROOM.
12.THIS FACILITY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ARTICLES.
13.ALL EMPTY LOCKERS ARE AVAILABLE TO USE, NO RESERVED LOCKER. IF THERE ALREADY THINGS INSIDE THE LOCKER, IT MEANS OCCUPIED, PLEASE FIND AN EMPTY ONE INSTEAD.
14.PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PUT YOUR STUFF INSIDE THE LOCKER BEFORE YOU ENTER THE POOL. SHOES MAY PUT EITHER IN THE LOCKER OR UNDER THE BENCH. AND PLEASE REMOVE ALL CLOTHING, TOWELS AND EQUIPMENT FROM THE LOCKER AFTER YOUR CLASS.
15.ALL CELL PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES MUST REMAIN ZIPPED SERCUELY INSIDE YOUR BAG AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE LOCKER ROOM.
16.CAMERAS AND VIDEO RECORDING DEVICES ARE NEVER PERMITTED IN THE LOCKER ROOM!!!
17.REPORT ALL LOSSES AND INJURIES TO YOUR TEACHER OR TO THE PEOPLE WHO WORK AT THE FRONT DESK.
18.ANYONE FOUND DEFACING OR DAMAGING THIS LOCKER ROOM IS SUBJECT TO DISCIPLINARY ACTION INCLUDING SUSPENSION AND WILL BE HELD FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE.
